Welcoming Two New Team Members!

We are thrilled to welcome Katalina Veal and Nesta Lenhert-Scholer to our team!

At Ensemble, we are a modern data-driven venture capital firm. Using data, we apply our unique approach to invest behind and support top teams. Past investments include the incredible teams at Zoom, Carta, Groww, ICON, and many others.

As we look to scale our impact, we are thrilled to announce two recent additions to our Ensemble, Katalina Veal and Nesta Lenhert-Scholer.

Katalina Veal

As an Associate at Ensemble VC, Katalina (Kat) plays a key role in the firm's research and due diligence processes. Prior to joining Ensemble VC, Kat was on the deal team of the Private Funds Group at PineBridge Investments in NYC. She underwrote primaries, secondaries and co-investments across a variety of sectors and geographies. Kat also led the diligence for the first $55 million investment made out of PineBridge’s nascent “first-time fund” investing strategy.

Kat graduated cum laude from Northeastern University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and concentrations in Finance and Entrepreneurship. During her time at Northeastern, she alternated her academic semesters with three six-month, full-time co-ops at PillPack (Acquired by Amazon), Clough Capital Partners and Raptor Group. While taking classes, Kat also held internships at various high-growth technology companies in the Boston area.

In her free time, she enjoys hiking, motorcycling, singing, and exploring all that Austin has to offer.

Nesta Lenhert-Scholer

Nesta Lenhert-Scholer is a Software Engineer focusing on leveraging our data resources to help prospective and current portfolio companies. Prior to Ensemble, Nesta graduated from the University of Chicago with a Master of Science degree in Computer Science. While there, he focused on data analytics, cloud computing, and parallel programming.

Prior to University of Chicago, he graduated cum laude from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Science in Physics and minors in Mathematics and Chemistry. During his time there, he joined the Experimental High Energy Physics Group to both build out the data storage platform and help run experiments for a project on the Large Hadron Collider.

In his free time, he enjoys rock climbing, snowboarding, spearfishing, and reading a good book.

Looking Ahead

As we look to add more portfolio companies and increase our involvement with our existing investments, we continue to build our team. Stay tuned for new more open roles on our data science team before the end of the year!
